  • An accessibility performance dashboard from the Elevin platform shows an overview of a corporate portfolio. A circular gauge displays an average health score of 60%. A list of top failed accessibility tests includes common issues like duplicate IDs and missing alt text. A risk matrix chart maps severity versus issue count, highlighting a critical risk zone. Below, a table lists assets such as websites for Wendy’s and Nuts.com, with corresponding health metrics and test data. A rankings panel on the right shows National Geographic in first place with 77% accessibility health. The interface is part of an enterprise tool for managing digital accessibility.

    Portfolio dashboard with risk matrix

In Elevin your "portfolio" is the group of individual sites you manage. This dashboard gives an overview of the accessibility health of your portfolio as a whole as well as high-level metrics for the included sites.
  • An accessibility compliance dashboard from Level Access’s Elevin platform displays analytics for the "Gibson" website. The screen includes a treemap of common accessibility blocks, a bar chart of pre-production health trends over four months, and a circular progress indicator showing current health at 49%. Below, a table lists high-priority pages with their respective issue percentages, number of occurrences, and common blocks. Tabs for critical pages, audits, top failed tests, and resources are visible. The interface is part of a corporate-level monitoring tool for tracking and improving web accessibility.

Elevin had the ability to define common blocks of code that are then individually tested. The visualization in the top left shows how often each defined block occurs in the site code giving the user an at-a-glance view of how impactful a specific common block is to the site's accessibility health. Another thing to note is the accessible charts and graphs that use texture and pattern in addition to color.
  • An accessibility audit summary for the "Gibson | Explore The Les Paul" page, displayed on the Elevin platform. The audit follows WCAG 2.1 standards and shows an overall health score of 89%. The left panel includes audit details such as the test date (9/1/2022), number of applicable tests (87), and total issues (269). The right side presents a conformance matrix with color-coded scores across WCAG principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. A table at the bottom lists individual issue occurrences, with options to filter and export results. The dashboard provides a comprehensive snapshot of accessibility compliance.

Note shapes used in addition to color and text labels for icons in conformance map.
  • An accessibility issue detail page from the Elevin platform titled “Img element missing accessible name.” The page explains that all non-decorative <img> elements must include alternative (accessible) text to convey their purpose. The issue is tied to WCAG 2.1, Success Criterion 1.1.1: Non-text Content. The interface displays related tests, relevant WCAG techniques, and provides guidance, impact, and recommendations. Suggestions include using the alt attribute, or aria-label/aria-labelledby, to describe the image’s content meaningfully. This view helps developers and accessibility professionals address and resolve missing alt text issues effectively.

Accessibility issue detail view with remediation recommendations

Identifying accessibility issues is only the first step in the process. To make a site accessible, those issues need to be remediated in a user-centric way. Elevin included content from the W3C's WCAG standards documents and Level Access's vast documentation library to put detailed information and remediation recommendations where they'd easily actionable.
  • A pre-production accessibility dashboard from the Elevin platform for the Gibson project, focused on the development phase. The interface displays a line graph titled "Health Data" tracking metrics such as development progress, passed and failed tests over time. A pie chart labeled "Issue Severity" breaks down issues by severity levels, color-coded from low to critical. Another line graph, "Environments Health," compares accessibility health across different development regions: East Coast, West Coast, Europe, and India. The dashboard provides a high-level overview of project accessibility status and testing performance across multiple environments.

Pre-production dashboard showing health by environment

One of the goals of Elevin was to "shift left" the accessibility testing and remediation from production to the testing and even development environments. To this end, it had deep integration with common continuous integration tools and robust monitoring of accessibility issues at each state of the development pipeline.
